Four staff from Gillman Funeral Service in Tooting have been helping the New Testament Assembly with packing food parcels for the homeless.
Area Development Manager Jamie Groves and funeral branch team of Tony Gribble, Kelly Woolmer, Debbie Cacutt and Eddie Dipper, packed around 500 food boxes in five hours, which included a variety of tinned items and biscuits.
Jamie said: “Tony has done this for many years and we wanted to continue our help so even more of us got involved this year.
“It was a great experience and I am so proud of how many boxes we all packed, I know that they have been very well received. We will try to get even more of us involved so we can pack even more boxes next year!”
