Thank you to Funeral Service Operative Hayley and her partner Gareth for organising and setting up the Farthing Funeral Service display at the Framlingham Country Show.
Two very busy days, the team attended this event to demonstrate a rural alternative to a traditional funeral.
On display there was some information on the Farthings history with ledgers dating back almost 100 years, an insight into alternative ways of how a loved one’s life can be celebrated including a bespoke country style vinyl wrapped coffin and last, but not least, Hayley’s pony ‘Gypsy-Rose’ and her partner’s Goshawk ‘Gary’.
Gypsy-Rose is a working pony able to drive a dray with a coffin, she is very friendly and was enjoyed by lots of visitors. Gary is 10 weeks old and a beautiful bird of prey. Both animals were happy and healthy and well taken care of during the show.
