On Saturday 15th June the team from Daren Persson aided by some mini helpers visited a local care home in North shields to hand out cards and a gift to all male residents for Father’s Day.
The gift of giving has most certainly struck a chord with these children who revisited Rudyerd Court, having previously given gifts to the female residents for Mother’s Day.
The cards were all hand made by the children at Richardson Dees Primary School and had been kindly dropped off to the Wallsend branch ahead of the special delivery.
The children were given the full VIP treatment by taking a ride in a Limousine. The girls thought they were princesses and it will be a memory that will stay with them.
Suzanne Bremner, Regional Administrator said :”Kevin said that he couldn’t believe he was in a limo and that he could cross it off his bucket list, we had a lovely day.”
