Woodley Grange Residential Home took part in the ‘National Care Homes Open Day’ by inviting the public to drop-in and join in with their activities, including Zumba dancing and flower arranging but the highlight of the day was a trip down memory lane at the mock-up pub from yesteryear. Philip Hutchings and Andy Lavin of AH Rogers & Sons, Eastleigh, stepped up to the role as barmen at the fictitious watering hole whilst the visitors enjoyed traditional pub games. Philip said: “We had great fun meeting everyone but I have to report that even with practise my darts skills have still not improved!”
