Funeral Arranger Grant Longden and Diary Manager Dave Cowan have delivered more than 20 bags of clothes and shoes to Barnabus homeless charity in Manchester.
Barnabus is a Christian Homeless Charity, providing a lifeline to the homeless in Manchester for over 25 years. Started by Peter Green and his Wife Beryl in 1991 the charity provides numerous services such as outreach, drop-in services at the Beacon Centre, one to one support and resettlement in the community.
The collection has been bolstered by donations from families and local churches and the team would like to thank everyone who has donated thus far, the items really do make a difference.
Grant said: “It is important to us that we support small local charities. Often, the people we see and meet are the people in our area who can say ‘have you spoken to Grant or Dave at Wythenshawe funeral Service they may be able to help.’ We will be donating more in the future and see this as a long-term partnership.”
