Staff from E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors in Maidenhead and Windsor had 116 Advent Calendars donated to their appeal by kind-hearted members of the community. A big thankyou to St Michael’s Church Bray and Nationwide Crash Repair Centre Slough for donating 70 between them.
All the calendars were delivered to Food Share Maidenhead who provide non-perishable food to families who are unable to afford a meal every day for themselves or their children, currently providing for over 100 families each week. Funeral Arranger Alison Moys said:
“Food share were delighted with the result, they do amazing work in this area and being able to give the calendars as a treat for the Children is lovely”.
