We were among businesses who showed their support for cyclists who took part in the Tour de Yorkshire on 3 – 6 May 2018.
Our Funeral Arrangers Helen Phelan, Nancy Brown, and Jackie Higgins created a cycling-themed display in the window of the branch in Kippax.
They cheered on the cyclists as they passed the branch during the second stage of the event on 4 May.
Jackie Higgins said: “You could really feel excitement in Kippax about this prestigious race passing through the village and the whole community worked together to show our support, it was such a great day.
“We were incredibly proud to be awarded second place out of all the businesses in Kippax for the best window display, and next year we are hoping to win!”
