Diamonds support the Dining Divas

Recognising how many residents, families and friends depend on the support provided by Oakhaven Hospice, the team from Diamonds decided to add to their previous sponsorship and support its fundraising Dining Divas event.

The hospice invited influential women of Lymington to dine at the beach-front hotel and spa, Captains Club, Lymington, on 15 March.

They enjoyed a delicious three-course meal and were joined by Captain Steve Billett, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, who spoke about his role as Community Safety Officer for the RNLI.

He enthralled diners with tales of daring rescues along with the history of the RNLI and its dedication to saving lives at sea.

Andy Lavin, Funeral Director, said: “We know how many people across Lymington rely on the hospice and this was another brilliant opportunity to be able to support them.

“The evening looked like it was great fun, and we are proud to be able to support such an important service in our community.”
