Collecting Easter Eggs for local families

E Sargeant & Son kept busy collecting Easter eggs for vulnerable families in Slough.

Funeral Director Abbie Reeve and Funeral Arrangers Katrina Gascoyne and Peter Wicks collected 200 Easter eggs for local charity, Home-Start Slough.

Home-Start is the biggest local voluntary organisation, which provides support and a listening ear to struggling families with children under five.

Alison Bowers, Office Coordinator at Home-Start, said: “We were blown away by the amount of Easter eggs donated and the families were over the moon.

“We want to say a huge thank you to everyone at E Sargeant & Son for the amazing donation.”

Area development manager Mark Clements said: “Home-Start were collecting Easter eggs for 65 families this year, so we are extremely proud of the amount of eggs we were able to donate.

“We would like to say a huge thank you for the generosity of local people, churches and companies who donated the eggs to us. We are always proud to help local charities and hopefully next year we can do even better!”
